Since opening its first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008,
Jamie's Italian has become
one of the biggest success stories in high street eating in the
UK.
Jamie's Italian is set to expand to Western Australia's
burgeoning food capital, Perth.
This time, opening here, at 140 Perth, in early 2013.
The new restaurant will feature the renowned Jamie's Italian
signatures of a unique
pasta machine (producing fresh pasta daily) and the legendary
planks of anti-pasti too. Boasting a spacious dining and bar area,
the Martin Brudnizki designed space will
definitely leave Perth diners having experienced the Jamie Oliver
wow factor.
"Australia has always been close to my heart since I first
visited around a decade ago
and I had a brilliant time when I was there earlier this year for
the launch of Jamie's
Italian Sydney. I get a lot of wonderful tweets from Australians
who have eaten at
Jamie's Italian restaurants in the UK, and now Sydney, so to have
another Jamie's
Italian open in Australia is really special for me. We've wanted
to open in Perth for a
while and now we've found the perfect location on William Street,
right in the heart of
the city",enthuses Oliver.
Similarly to the Sydney Pitt Street location, the menu at
Jamie's Italian at 140, will showcase a spectacular variety of
fresh pastas, authentic Italian mains and delicious antipasti made
with impeccably-sourced, high-quality, fresh and sustainable
produce.
Each dish at Jamie's Italian has a unique element which makes it
different, offering gourmets and fans an unrivalled experience
coupled with a rustic and authentic Italian ambience.
Watch the 140 Facebook page
for more information closer to the opening date.
