Thursday, February 21 marked WA's night of nights with the 17th annual West
Australian Fashion Awards. The black tie event celebrated WA's ever expanding
fashion industry, recognising the most successful designers, models, boutiques,
bloggers and creative artists, for notable achievements in their respected fields.

Amoung the most celebrated were members from the 140 pop-up family,
recieving 5 nominations across 4 categories and taking out 3 awards.

Nominations were given to:

Awards went to:

Over 200 fashion VIPs packed the iconic city GPO building for the 16th annual WA Fashion Awards last night. There were three nominees for the Best Blogger Award, but it was Perth born and bred Emma Bergmeier, who took out the top prize with her fashion blog Dropstitch.

Dropstitch provides insight into the WA fashion industry, a diverse celebration of all things chic, with street fashion images, event coverage, interviews, competitions and original fashion editorials. When Emma isn't busy being a freelance stylist, journalist and blogger, she runs the All Of The Above Creative Pop-Up Studio here at 140, alongside stylist and Creative Edge Award nominee Hannah McGrath.

We are thrilled to have such creative geniuses in our midst, congratulations Emma! From all the team here at 140.
